Air China currently operates a network of 299 routes, including 72 international, 14 regional and 213 domestic routes, serving 154 cities, including 48 international cities, 3 regional cities and 103 domestic cities. While improving its route network, Air China has been implementing a fleet modernization plan, which includes new aircraft purchases and existing aircraft upgrades, ensuring that its operations are safe, fuel efficient and passengers-friendly. The carriers' fleet includes 20 newly delivered B777-300ERs, the most state-of-the-art twin-engine long-haul widebody type in China, as well as existing A330-200s and A330-300s whose cabin interiors have been upgraded.
