Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation announces Senior Management Changes
APPLETON, Wis., March 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation today announced the following changes and promotions within its senior leadership team. Captain Bob Frisch has been named to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Laurie Martin to Vice President – Inflight and Customer Service and Chris White to Vice President – Safety and Security.
In his new role, Bob Frisch will report directly to President and CEO Christine Deister, and will lead all Air Wisconsin operations and departments in support of the company's Flying, Maintenance and Customer Service functions; Frisch additionally will continue to be responsible for all Labor Relations functions for the company. Previously, he served as Vice President – Flight Operations and Labor Relations, overseeing Air Wisconsin's labor relations functions and flight and inflight operations including flight and inflight standards, training and operations. Captain Frisch joined Air Wisconsin in 1999 and has over 20 years of commercial flying experience. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and is a qualified pilot for Air Wisconsin.
Laurie Martin is promoted to the position of Vice President - Inflight and Customer Service and will report directly to the Senior Vice President and COO. In addition to her current role of leading the Inflight department, Martin will be responsible for all customer service functions of the airline and will also lead the flight administration department. She joined Air Wisconsin in 1983 and most recently held the position of Managing Director of Inflight Services including inflight crew resources, training, on-board product and contract policy administration; Martin is a qualified flight attendant and training instructor.
Chris White is promoted to the position of Vice President – Safety and Security and will continue to report directly to the President and CEO. Along with his current role of leading all Safety functions for Air Wisconsin, White will additionally be responsible for all Security functions throughout the organization including liaison and interface with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). He joined Air Wisconsin in 2010 and most recently held the position of Managing Director – Safety. Prior to joining Air Wisconsin, White was Vice President of Safety and Regulatory Compliance at Midwest Airlines.
