BRCAStrong will be hosting the Smart Options Medical Panel & Fashion Show this weekend. The goal of the event is to encourage and unify women and men to become more proactive in their health decisions. The Medical Panel will include several award winning doctors such as Dr. Lisa Learn (Plastic Surgeon), Dr. Daniel Calva (Plastic Surgeon), Dr. Lauren Carcas (Oncologist), Dr. Susan Kosmedel (Surgical Oncologist), as well as Tracy Milgram-Posner (Founder of BRCAStrong/Previvor), Cindy Papale-Hammontree (three time author and a breast cancer survivor), Congresswomen Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (Survivor, BRCA positive) and Sabrina Sanchez-Hernandez (RDN, CDE, NC).
The event will be held at 12:00 noon on March 9, 2019 at 900 Silks Run Hallandale, FL. The Medical Panel will focus on breast cancer and corresponding treatment options, including surgical/medical approaches, new innovations in the field of breast cancer treatment, genetic testing, and nutrition considerations. Rounding out the event will be a a Fashion Show featuring breast cancer Survivors and Previvors.
