Dr. Mehran Asdigha Joins as Vice President of Engineering
ALLENTOWN, Pa., March 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Akrion Systems LLC ("Akrion Systems"), a supplier of advanced surface preparation processes and equipment for microelectronics and solar device manufacturers announced today that Dr. Mehran Asdigha has joined the management team as Vice President of Engineering.
Dr. Asdigha was most recently Sr. Vice President of Engineering at BlueShift Technologies, Inc., a provider of automation hardware and software for the semiconductor industry. He has also served in technical and management positions at PRI, Axcelis Technologies, and Brooks Automation. He has multiple patents and specializes in the design and development of advanced electromechanical systems and controls. Dr. Asdigha received his BSME degree from Michigan State University and his MSME and Ph.D. from Tufts University.
