Al-Ghazaly School in Jersey City, NJ becomes the 1st Islamic School to be Accredited by AdvancED in New Jersey

JERSEY CITY, N.J., May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Al-Ghazaly School, a New Jersey based Islamic school becomes the first Islamic School to be accredited in New Jersey for meeting the high standards that have been set by the largest accreditation agency in the world, AdvancED. Officials from AdvancED Accreditation Commission will be recommending full accreditation after highlighting AGE's strengths on multiple indicators.

After a comprehensive review, AdvancED Accreditation Commission has confirmed that Al-Ghazaly School in Jersey City, NJ, and the Academy of Greatness & Excellence in Teaneck, NJ, have earned the distinction of recommendation for accreditation under the umbrella of the first Accredited Islamic School System in the United States, the Academies of Greatness and Excellence.

After a comprehensive review, AdvancED Accreditation Commission has confirmed that the Academies of Greatness and Excellence (AGE) School System has earned the distinction of accreditation and becomes the first Islamic school system (pre-K to 8th grade) to earn this distinction in the United States (US). Currently, the system includes two affiliated faith based schools located in New Jersey (NJ), Al-Ghazaly School located in Jersey City, NJ, and  the Academy of Greatness and Excellence located in Teaneck, NJ. The AGE School System is in the process of expanding to open another school in Hudson County, NJ.
