Albireo Energy Partners With New Jersey's Clean Energy Program
Albireo Energy to support state's energy efficiency efforts by developing energy reduction plans for large commercial and industrial customers
EDISON, N.J., Dec. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Albireo Energy, LLC ("Albireo Energy"), a national building automation and energy services provider delivering solutions to large commercial and institutional buildings nationally, has been selected by New Jersey's Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) as an Approved Partner for the state's Pay for Performance initiative. NJCEP is a statewide program administered by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU), and its Pay for Performance program is designed to provide incentives to large commercial and industrial customers who comprehensively upgrade their facilities through investments in energy efficiency.
Pay for Performance takes a comprehensive, whole-building approach to energy efficiency, and is comprised of an Existing Buildings component and a New Construction component. As an Approved Partner, Albireo Energy will be part of a network that will provide technical services under direct contract to Pay for Performance participants. Acting as an energy expert for participants, Albireo Energy will develop an Energy Reduction Plan (ERP) for each project with a whole-building technical analysis via a traditional energy audit, a financial plan for funding any recommended energy efficient measures, and a construction schedule for installation.
"We are thrilled to have been selected as a Pay for Performance Program Partner to help advance energy efficiency within commercial and industrial facilities throughout New Jersey," said Phil Bomrad, CEO of Albireo Energy. "This distinction demonstrates our credibility as an energy services provider and allows us to further add value for New Jersey's Clean Energy Program, as well as open doors for greater incentives for current and future customers."
