Alchemia Infused Vodkas: Versatile Spirits for the Bar and Kitchen
Three Small-Batch Infused Vodkas Perfect on Their Own, in Cocktails, and Even in Desserts
Three recipes from industry experts below: simple cocktail (for novices); complex cocktail (for budding home mixologists); dessert by Michael Laiskonis (for everyone)
NEW YORK, July 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Whether used at a home bar, in the hands of a mixologist, or with a chef in the kitchen, Panache Beverages Inc.'s Alchemia Infused Vodka offers many culinary possibilities, as demonstrated by the three recipes below. The adaptability of this triple-distilled, small batch spirit illustrates how different it is from traditional "flavored vodkas."
Crafted in Poland with premium 100% rye grain spirit and whole cold-macerated, hand-harvested ingredients, Alchemia offers three infusions: Wild Cherry, Ginger, and Chocolate. All three infused vodkas are finished in oak barrels for a six-week aging process, giving the spirits a depth of flavor and roundness not often found in vodkas.
Alchemia Infusions:
- Alchemia Wild Cherry Vodka: produced by infusing raw, wild Polish cherries into the base 100% rye grain spirit, the result is a Burgundy-colored vodka that is both mildly sweet and tart.
- Alchemia Ginger Vodka: infused with natural ginger root, the flavor profile is clean with just a touch of lemon, a bit of sweetness, and a spicy ginger finish.
- Alchemia Chocolate Vodka: natural cocoa is infused into the base spirit, and the result is just a touch sweet. The spirit is extremely smooth, with subtle notes of orange peel on the finish.
Alchemia: Behind the Bar and In The Kitchen
"In a rocky sea littered with trendy vodkas, Alchemia floats to the top, offering flavor-forward spirits equally at home in the kitchen as they are behind the bar," says award-winning chef and Creative Director at the Institute of Culinary Education, Michael Laiskonis. Below is a recipe for Frozen Alchemia Ginger Parfait from Chef Laiskonis, and two recipes from other renowned industry experts, showcasing the breadth of what Alchemia vodkas can be used for.
