Alchemy's Risk Managed Account Platform Selected to Power Wainwright Investment Counsel's Liquid Alternatives Portfolio

SAN MATEO, Calif., Feb. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Alchemy Ventures, Inc. today announced that its Risk Managed Account Platform (RMA Platform) received a mandate for $200 million from Wainwright Investment Counsel, LLC ("Wainwright"). This mandate will bring Alchemy's RMA Platform together with Wainwright's experience in portfolio construction of alternatives asset classes. Through this mandate, qualified alternative asset managers may be eligible to receive allocations from Wainwright via Alchemy's RMA Platform.

This is the first mandate of its kind, focused on making investment allocations to qualified managers via risk-budget investing. This arrangement utilizes the Risk Managed Account Platform to achieve a targeted return within a pre-determined risk budget (maximum acceptable loss) while maximizing manager and strategy diversification.
