ALEXANDRIA, ON, Aug. 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Alexandria Moulding, a leading manufacturer and distributor of mouldings and related millwork products, today announced they have launched a social media program to provide a deeper level of information and education for their customers as well as consumers.

As with many other industries, the internet and social media has transformed the home improvement industry. Alexandria Moulding has always placed a significant value on the customer service, and to further these relationships, especially with gen Y who are used to using different digital tools to communicate recently announced a major commitment to its social media platform. Marianne Thompson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Alexandria Moulding, explained: "A growing majority of our clients and consumers are using these platforms and we want to be in that space with them. It's becoming an important way to communicate with our customers and consumers."

One of the major draws to social media for supplies to the home improvement industry such as Alexandria Moulding is the speed with which information and valuable content can be transmitted and socialized with customers and consumers.
