NEWARK, N.J., July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic Corporation of North America today announced the appointment of Allan Swan as President of Panasonic Energy of North America at the Tesla Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada, effective September 10th, 2018.

Mr. Swan joins Panasonic from Roll's Royce, where he served as Senior Vice President for the US Operations of the Defense Business. He has held multiple manufacturing, supply chain, and operations-related leadership roles throughout his career not only at Rolls-Royce, but also at ThyssenKrupp in Germany and United Technologies in his home country of Scotland.
