Allegheny Financial Group Advisors Among Top Wealth Managers
Pittsburgh Magazine survey of affluent area residents rated satisfaction with advisors
PITTSBURGH, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- An extensive survey of Pittsburgh-area residents with high net worth has identified nineteen advisors from Allegheny Financial Group and Allegheny Investments among the region's top wealth managers on the basis of clients' satisfaction.
The independent survey, sponsored by Pittsburgh Magazine, ranked financial planners, accountants, attorneys, tax advisors, investment advisors, life-insurance agents, and other professional financial advisors on performance in relation to nine criteria -- customer service, integrity, knowledge & expertise, communications, value for fee, meeting of objectives, post-sale service, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction.
Allegheny Financial Group principals James Browne, CFP®; Ralph Boyd, Jr., CFP®; James D. Hohman, CFP®; Steven Hurst, CFP®; Nancy McKee, CFP®; Michael Montileone, CFP®; Jennifer Schrauder, CFP®; Raymond Schutzman, CFP®; Karl Smrekar, Jr., CFP®; and Deborah Turek, CFP®; as well as advisors Thomas R. Butler, CPA; Ralph Duckworth, CPA; Joseph Hoover; David Jeter, CFP®; Carol K. Lampe, CFP®; Jeffrey Markanich, CFP®; Thomas Pandolph; Robert Shuty, CFP®; and Thomas Windfelder were named to the magazine's list of Five-Star Wealth Managers, the top performers identified from the survey.
"The survey results -- and the number of Five-Star designations -- are a good indicator of the consistently high quality of Allegheny's advisory services," said Senior Vice President David Jeter.
In all, the Five-Star designation was awarded to fewer than five percent of all financial advisors in the region. A description of the survey and its methodology appeared in the July 2010 issue of Pittsburgh Magazine.
