Allegro Guitar Series Presents Brazilian Duo: The Assad Brothers

FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Assad Brothers Duo is the World's premier guitar duo having established their place in the broader classical world through performances with Yo Yo Ma, Nadja Solerno-Sonnenberg, Gidon Kremer, Dawn Upshaw, and many others.

On Thursday evening, February 16, in Fort Worth and Friday evening, February 17, in Dallas The Assad Brothers will perform concerts featuring music by Rameau, Sor, Rodrigo, Sergio Assad, and others covering a period of more than 300 years,

On Saturday, February 18, at 8PM, the Assads will be the Special Guests at our Annual Valentine's GALA at the Renzo Piano Pavilion. Hors d'Oeuvres and a Dessert buffet will be provided and you'll get to meet the brothers in a relaxed, intimate setting.

The Allegro Guitar Series is a presentation of the Fort Worth Classic Guitar Society and the Allegro Guitar Society of Dallas. Formed in 1995, FWCGS /Allegro presents world-class classical guitar in North Texas and has performed hundreds of hours of instructional outreach targeting at risk and low-income students.
