(NYSE: AFB), a closed-end management investment company, declared on this date, April 24, 2012, a monthly distribution of $0.0775 per share of Common Stock, payable May 18, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 4, 2012.  Ex-date will be May 2, 2012.

AllianceBernstein National Municipal Income Fund, Inc. is managed by AllianceBernstein L.P.
