HOUSTON, June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- alliantgroup was proud to sponsor Leukemia Texas' Inaugural Concert for a Cure on June 21st at the Irish Cowboy in the midtown area of Houston. All proceeds from the event were donated to Leukemia Texas in support of the organization's outstanding work in helping families with loved ones dealing with the disease.

During the event, attendees were treated to live musical entertainment from country singer-songwriter Luke Pell while listening to inspiring testimonials and stories from local leukemia survivors. The concert is projected to raise over $100,000 in donations to support Leukemia Texas' philanthropic efforts. alliantgroup would like to thank everyone who attended and made this event possible, including Houston Astros Pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. and his wife Kara McCullers (both of whom served as Honorary Chairs for the event), AT&T Sports Network Field Reporter and Event Emcee Julia Morales, and Event Chair and Leukemia Texas Advisory Board Member Tiffaney Dale Hunter.
An independent nonprofit corporation, Leukemia Texas is dedicated to fighting the life-threatening blood cancer of leukemia through the funding of leukemia research and patient aid in Texas. Through its Patient Aid program, Leukemia Texas provides financial assistance to leukemia patients needing help with their necessary treatment expenses. This program currently serves hundreds of children and adults each year and awards grants for research to develop new and improved methods of treatment that may ultimately lead to a cure for leukemia.
