Allianz Africa Opens a new Subsidiary in the Republic of Congo

Allianz Congo Assurances becomes the 15th subsidiary of Allianz Africa
Allianz Africa, a subsidiary of Allianz Group dedicated to business in Africa, continues its development strategy in Africa and opens a new subsidiary in the Republic of Congo.
Allianz Congo Assurances has established its activity in Pointe -Noire, the business center of the country and proposes a wide range of insurance solutions to corporate customers - from small firms to big international groups - and to retail customers. A second office will open soon in the forthcoming months in Brazzaville, the political and administrative capital city of the country.
Allianz Africa is expanding its network in Africa with this new subsidiary in the Republic of Congo, whose economic growth is one of the most dynamic of sub-Saharan Africa and where the insurance sector is booming. The insurance market turnover in Congo, the 5th of the CIMA[1] area, has doubled since 2005, registering a 35% growth in 2009 compared to 2008.
