Allscripts and dbMotion Selected by Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson University Physicians to Provide HIE for Advancing Patient Centered Medical Home

CHICAGO and PITTSBURGH, April 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allscripts (Nasdaq: MDRX), the leading provider of software, information and connectivity solutions for physicians, and dbMotion, a provider of health interoperability solutions, have been selected by Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) and Jefferson University Physicians (JUP) to provide an  integrated and interoperable Electronic Health Record (EHR) and population management solution for JUP's physicians, who currently use the Allscripts EHR.  The new solution will create a single, unified patient record for all TJU caregivers, broadening and strengthening their practice of the Patient Centered Medical Home.
