Alpharetta Dentist Dr. Cesar Tapia Awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists

Fellowship in the College is by invitation and is based on demonstrated leadership and contributions to the dental profession and society.

CUMMING, Ga., Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Cesar Tapia of Alpharetta, Georgia, was awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists (ACD) on October 24, 2026, during its Annual Meeting and Convocation in Santa Barbara, California. Dr. Tapia is the founder of ConfiDENT, a general, cosmetic and implant dental practice with offices in Alpharetta and Cumming that serves families throughout the North Atlanta area.

The American College of Dentists was founded in 1920 to recognize dentists who have made significant contributions to the advancement of excellence, ethics, professionalism and leadership in oral healthcare. Fellowship in the College is by invitation and based on demonstrated leadership and contributions to the dental profession and society. Fewer than 4% of dentists in the United States are invited to become Fellows. The College's annual Convocation formally welcomes each new class of Fellows into the organization.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Dr. Tapia earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery and completed his residency at the University of Colorado before establishing ConfiDENT in Alpharetta. He has since earned two master's credentials in implantology, from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, and in 2025 was named an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In addition to leading his practice, he continues to pursue advanced education in implant and restorative dentistry so that patients in Alpharetta, Cumming and the surrounding communities have access to comprehensive care close to home.

At ConfiDENT, Dr. Tapia and his team provide preventive and family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, All-on-X full-mouth restorations, LANAP® and LAPIP® laser periodontal treatment, clear aligners and same-day crowns.
