The ICOI, which describes itself as the world's largest dental implant organization, reserves its Mastership for Fellows who have demonstrated substantial clinical experience and ongoing education in implant dentistry. Candidates must hold active ICOI Fellowship and document 80 completed implant cases, submit detailed records for 20 of those cases, complete 150 hours of implant-focused continuing education within the previous five years, and deliver dental implant presentations to their peers. The AAIP Master credential recognizes advanced training and experience in the restorative side of implant care, including the planning and fabrication of crowns, bridges, and full-arch prostheses supported by dental implants.
