Al's Angels Announces 'Angels in Texas' Fundraising Initiative To Bring Holiday Meals To Families Affected By Hurricane Harvey
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. and HOUSTON, Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Al's Angels, a non-profit, charitable organization founded by digital marketing and publishing industry pioneer Al DiGuido, today announced it is launching an "Angels in Texas" fundraising program to support thousands of families in Texas whose lives have been impacted by the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey.
Al's Angels has identified a network of families in Southeast Texas that are in desperate as a result of loss of homes and belongings due to Hurricane Harvey. Hundreds of Al's Angels volunteers will be assembling Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah meals that will be provided to each family.
Working in partnership with Cingari family-run Shoprite locations throughout Al's Angels home state of Connecticut, Al's Angels will be purchasing food products in bulk, and then driving to Southeast Texas to distribute meals, toys and clothing items to children and families. Delivery dates and drop-off locations in Southeast Texas will be confirmed shortly on Al's Angels website at www.AlsAngels.org.
Al's Angels is setting a fundraising goal of $100,000 for this initiative. If you'd like to contribute to the "Angels in Texas" initiative please follow these steps:

This event marks the latest of several holiday outreach missions for Al's Angels this holiday season.
Again…this year Al's Angels will distribute more than 3,200 holiday meals to children and families battling cancer, rare blood diseases & severe financial hardship in the Tri-State area. The organization will also provide over 12,000 gifts to suffering children over the holiday season.
