Coming from a small shop in Apollo, WindStax is expanding its manufacturing capacity. Their turbines lead an industry trend toward small wind energy sources rather than sprawling "windmill" designs. It is difficult to miss their 20' tall vertical turbine spinning in a breeze on Smallman Street periodically, which provides power to their office.

"We received nearly 100 inquires and were happy to hire people anxious to get involved with a growth industry like green energy." WindStax plans to add up to 10 more jobs this year.
