Alteryx Strategic Analytics Makes Presidential Election Local

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Alteryx, Inc., the leading provider of Strategic Analytics software, announced today that as part of its Alteryx Analytics Gallery, it will offer an analytical application to the public focused on the November U.S. Presidential election, allowing users to plug in their zip codes or addresses and see the predicted voting patterns in their local vicinity, or anywhere across the United States. 

The election app is created on the Alteryx Strategic Analytics platform, which is leveraging data from USA Today/Gallup Presidential polling data, Experian household data, U.S. Census data and third-party registered voter information.  It then uses statistical and predictive analysis to predict local voter preferences.  Once the application is run, a visual report highlights presidential preferences mapped to a zip code or hyper-local drive time analysis from a provided street address in percentages, local demographic information including mean age, income and housing valuations, as well as providing a national map with the latest predicted polling data at the county level.
