Matt Chan, a 34-year-old former firefighter and EMT from Denver is all about sports and high performance – swimming in high school, water polo and weight lifting at Western Illinois University, telemark skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking "wherever two wheels can roll."

Chan is one seriously fit dude – a five-foot-eleven-inch, 208-pound block of moving marble. He discovered CrossFit in 2007 and since then has won four CrossFit Regionals competitions and placed in the top ten at four of his five CrossFit Games.
