Amanda Shewmake Joins Bayard Advertising as Group Vice President in Its Denver Office

DENVER, Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Amanda Shewmake has joined Bayard Advertising Agency, Inc. as Group Vice President in its Denver office. Formerly a Vice President of the West Central Region with NAS Recruitment Communications, Amanda comes to Bayard with more than 20 years of Human Resource Communications/Recruitment Advertising experience. Throughout the years Amanda has helped deliver best-of-class solutions for both online and offline candidate engagement.  Her specialized expertise around Web 2.0 recruiting solutions, career website effectiveness and analytics positions her clients to reach their recruiting goals. Amanda's experience also includes consulting with clients on campus recruiting, diversity, onboarding, recognition/retention and other employee communication initiatives.

Amanda joined NAS Recruitment Communications (formerly Nationwide Advertising Service) in 1988 as a Customer Service Consultant. During her tenure she was involved in many aspects of the talent acquisition consulting/communications business. Her roles included operations, new business development, client service/account management and a position on the company leadership team.

Amanda is a supporter of DenverWorks, an organization serving former offenders in preparing for and locating employment, where she serves as a Member of the Board of Directors.  She has also served on the board of the Colorado Healthcare Association for Human Resources Management (CHAHRM) and has been involved with the SHRM Colorado State Council with program planning, offering a rich array of ideas, insight and methodology that helps employers attract and retain A-level talent.
