Amazon Superfood Pioneer Opens First Sambazon Acai Cafe in Southern California

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sambazon, the pioneer of organic Amazon superfoods, today announced the grand opening of the Sambazon Acai Cafe in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif., which serves up a tasty selection of authentic acai bowls and smoothies based on the company's organic line of premium functional juices, smoothies, sorbets and smoothie packs.  The cafe officially opens to the public on Saturday, April 9, with a celebration from noon to 6:00 p.m. featuring live music, free samples and a capoeira performance.

The Sambazon Acai Cafe's menu boasts signature items like the traditional Brazilian Rio bowl, the Rob Machado Bowl, designed by local surf legend, and the Bob Burnquist Bowl, created by the professional skateboarder. In addition to traditional Brazilian superfoods, the Cafe also offers delicious dessert bowls and a kids menu as well as coffee, herbal teas and savory Brazilian cheese bread (Pao de Queijo).
