MIAMI, July 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The makers of Puroast®, the coffee with a uniquely rich, smooth taste, much lower acid and an antioxidant boost, have announced that their products will be some of a select group of grocery items featured in Amazon.com's 20th anniversary celebration.
Amazon has announced that it will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on Thursday, July 16, 2015. On July 15th, Amazon will be conducting "Prime Day" and will offer more deals on that day than on Black Friday, the busy shopping day after Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday, the Monday after Thanksgiving when many people go online to shop for deals.
"Puroast is honored to have its coffees be some of the select group of grocery items featured during Amazon's twentieth anniversary celebration," said Kerry Sachs, CEO of Puroast Coffee. "Just like Amazon, who has innovated and been disruptive to the marketplace, so has Puroast."
"We did not duplicate but created value just like Amazon," Sachs continued. "Amazon's recognition of our innovation and disruptive approach to the beverage industry has given us many new opportunities to educate coffee consumers in North America about the taste and health benefits of Puroast."
Puroast has its origins in a trip to Venezuela that Sachs, an American agricultural engineer who did not like coffee "because it was too bitter", took in the 1980s. Sachs fell in love with the local coffee. After a few months of working with local farmers, he was able to learn about and perfect the roasting system that today gives Puroast its unique attributes and flavor.
Independent research shows that, in addition to its great taste, Puroast has 70 percent less acid than other coffees and seven times the antioxidants of Green tea.
Puroast is the Grower's Coffee™ - coffee with a uniquely rich, smooth taste, much lower acid and an antioxidant boost.
