In 2013, Albarda founded MLA Consulting to advise marketers, agencies, startups, and media companies on integrated marketing communications. He will share his digital marketing expertise as keynote speaker, where he will kick-off eBev 2013 with a State of the Digital Beverage Nation on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 8:30 A.M. mountain time.
Before founding MLA Consulting LLC, Maarten spent 10 years at The Coca-Cola Company, where he spent the last 4 leading Media and Communication Innovation across all brands and key markets. From there, Maarten joined Anheuser-Busch InBev as VP, Global Connections, with responsibility for all aspects of Media, Digital, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, CRM and Licensed Merchandise. He was responsible for the design and implementation of "The AB-InBev way of Marketing" for Connection Planning.
Recently, Albarda co-authored "Z.E.R.O.", outlining his strategies and insight on zero paid media as the new marketing model.
