American Community Bancorp, Inc. Announces Appointment of Michael R. Hinton to Board of Directors

EVANSVILLE, Ind., March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Community Bancorp, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ACBP) and Bank of Evansville, today announced that Michael R. Hinton has been appointed to their respective Boards of Directors.

Mr. Hinton is President and Chief Operating Officer of Bernardin, Lochmueller, and Associates, Inc. (BLA). He has served in that capacity since joining BLA in 2006. Founded as a transportation planning firm in 1980, BLA has evolved into a full-service survey, planning, engineering, and environmental firm serving clients throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Michael S. Sutton, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Community Bancorp, Inc. and Bank of Evansville, commented, "We are delighted that Mike will be joining our Boards. Prior to joining BLA, Mr. Hinton worked for 26 years in the banking industry, all with Old National Bancorp in Evansville, Indiana. He has been very active in numerous community organizations. Currently he serves as Vice Chairman of the Evansville Industrial Foundation, is a member of the University of Evansville Board of Trustees, and serves on the St. Mary's Medical Center Board of Directors. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana.
