American DG Energy Announces New Board Member

WALTHAM, Mass., June 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American DG Energy Inc. (NYSE Amex: ADGE), a leading OnSite Utility, offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to hospitality, healthcare, housing and athletic facilities, today announced that Deanna M. Petersen was elected to the  Board of Directors during the Company's annual meeting of stockholders held on Thursday, May 27, 2010.

Ms. Petersen is Vice President of Business Development for Shire Human Genetic Therapies, where she initiates and manages partnering, licensing and merger and acquisition activities worldwide.  Previously, she was Vice President of Business Development for Antigenics Inc. and Coley Pharmaceutical Group, Inc.  Ms. Petersen is Co-Chair of the Business Development Committee for the Massachusetts Biotechnology Association and previously the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, Boston Chapter.  Ms. Petersen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Iowa.
