American Energy Solutions Announces Name Change to Acumen Energy Solutions

LEAWOOD, Kan., Aug. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- American Energy Solutions, a leader in delivering comprehensive energy management strategies, today announced its new company name – Acumen Energy Solutions – marking a significant step in the organization's strategy to broaden its brand and service offerings in the global market.

In the last two years, the company has undergone a significant transformation, expanding its geographic reach while launching a new brand centered on offering effective procurement and conservation methods backed by the highest level of customer service.  Today, Acumen Energy Solutions serves multi-site facilities and commercial, industrial, and institutional customers across the United States as well as in Canada and Mexico. 

Shawn Rash, president of Acumen Energy Solutions, said the new name more accurately reflects the company's position as an international energy service company.

Although the renaming will take effect immediately, American Energy Solutions will be gradually phased out as the Acumen Energy Solutions name is introduced to existing and prospective customers.  All future business activity will be undertaken with the Acumen Energy Solutions name.
