American Red Cross Of Massachusetts First Recipient Of Branders.com "Give A Way" Campaign

LOS ALTOS, Calif., Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Thousands of people in need receive support every year from the National Red Cross, and Branders.com announced yesterday that they are supporting this effort by providing logoed merchandise to the American Red Cross of Massachusetts as part of their "Give a Way" campaign.

The "Give a Way" campaign was officially launched on Dec. 3 as part of #GivingTuesday and is meant to provide items that can help non-profit organizations brand their cause.  The campaign is focused on supporting organizations in the healthcare and education sectors.

"People all over the world benefit – at times of their greatest need – from the work of the National Red Cross," said Joie Fuentes, Branders.com marketing lead. "We specifically resonate with the work the Massachusetts office did after the April bombing at the Boston Marathon.  Their work made a difference, and now we hope our donation helps them to continue to achieve their goals."

According to the American Red Cross of Massachusetts, disaster does not take a holiday.

"Especially when our food pantry clients need to choose between heat and food; especially during peak fire season when we see the greatest number of home fires; especially when we are in danger of another blizzard, people need to know the Red Cross will be there," said Jarrett Barrios, CEO of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts. The American Red Cross of Massachusetts is the first of twelve organizations that Branders.com will support through its "Give a Way" campaign.  Subsequent groups will be announced each month through May 2014.
