American Sports Network To Broadcast Mid-American Conference Games

BALTIMORE, Sept. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- American Sports Network ("ASN"), a division of Sinclair Networks Group, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI), announced that it has entered into a multi-year sublicense agreement with ESPN to televise college football and basketball games for the Mid-American Conference ("MAC"), beginning with the 2015 academic year.

Under the agreement, ASN will air up to 10 football, 10 men's basketball and five women's basketball games per year.  All of the 2015 football games will be played on Saturdays, beginning with a September 5th matchup between Eastern Michigan and Old Dominion from Ypsilanti, Michigan.
