American University's Kogod School of Business Partners with 2U, Inc. to Launch New Online MBA Program

WASHINGTON, Jan. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- American University's Kogod School of Business and 2U, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWOU), which partners with leading colleges and universities to deliver the world's best online degree programs, today announced an extension of 2U's partnership with American University that will bring Kogod's Master of Business Administration program online for the first time. Within the Master of Business Administration program, MBA@American, Kogod will also offer a Master of Science in Analytics, Analytics@American. Both degrees are expected to begin in October 2015.

MBA@American anticipates offering concentrations in Marketing, Finance, International Business, IT Analytics and Consulting/Entrepreneurship, and will require students to complete 48 credits.  Analytics@American will offer a range of concentrations in Business Policy, Healthcare, Financial and Marketing Analytics, and will require 33 completed credits. Additionally, both MBA@American and Analytics@American will require students to complete two in-person immersive courses led by university faculty on American University's campus in Washington, D.C., and in other major business centers globally.

The Kogod MBA program marks the second joint venture between 2U and AU, and builds upon the success of the leading web-based Master of Arts in International Relations degree, offered by AU and supported by 2U. The Kogod MBA program will be the third MBA program powered by 2U and the company's fifth announced program launch for 2015.
