America's Largest Multi-player, Free Roam Virtual Reality Arena Opens Second Boston Venue; NJ And Philly To Come

BOSTON, Jan. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MindTrek VR, the leader in large-scale, free-roaming virtual reality gaming in the Northeast, has opened its second Massachusetts location in the new Apex Center of New England entertainment complex in Marlborough, and is moving forward with plans for locations in northern New Jersey and Philadelphia.

MindTrek VR's high-tech, free-roam gaming arenas accommodate up to 16 players at a time. Battle with zombies, robots and drones in "Zombie Survival," or negotiate virtual mazes and digital netherworlds in "Singularity" and "Engineerium." Patterned after wildly successful arenas in Australia and Japan, MindTrek VR opened its first U.S. location in Woburn, Mass. in July 2017, followed by the Marlborough arena in December. Both are powered by Zero Latency, a Melbourne, Australia-based tech company that is the global leader in VR gaming.

Co-founded by Brad Wurtz, David Rzepski, and Boston-based entrepreneur David O'Connor, MindTrek VR has secured exclusive rights for Zero Latency-powered arenas in Boston, Philadelphia and New Jersey. The trio of entrepreneurs, who all come from a business and entertainment background, are planning to open locations in Philadelphia and New Jersey in 2018.
