AmeriHealth Administrators Appoints Three Key Executives
Lance Anderman, Michael Robak, Kori Snyder to help lead health care benefits administration company
HORSHAM, Pa., Feb. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard J. Neeson, AmeriHealth Administrators' president and CEO, has announced the appointment of Lance Anderman, Michael Robak, and Kori Snyder to key executive leadership positions at the health care benefits administration company. These executive appointments will join the current AmeriHealth Administrators leadership team, which includes Neeson; Linda Taylor, senior vice president of marketing and sales; and Gideon Hill, M.D., vice president and regional medical director.
LANCE ANDERMAN — Vice President, Finance
Lance Anderman has joined AmeriHealth Administrators (AHA) as vice president of finance. Most recently, Anderman was vice president of finance and corporate treasurer for PRHP, Inc., formerly known as La Cruz Azul, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
As vice president of finance, Anderman will play a key role leading AHA's financial operations and providing guidance in exploring new opportunities to expand the business. Anderman will be responsible for directing all accounting, reporting, and budgeting. Anderman will report directly to Neeson.
Prior to his role with PRHP, Anderman held senior level financial positions with NewSeasons Assisted Living Communities, Independence Blue Cross's (IBC) subsidiaries in Puerto Rico and Jamaica, as well as AmeriHealth of Delaware. Prior to joining the IBC Family of Companies, Anderman was the Regional Controller for Pennsylvania Blue Shield where he directed financial services for the company's for-profit subsidiaries and new business ventures.
Anderman is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. Anderman has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from West Chester University in Pennsylvania and completed his graduate coursework at Widener University.
MICHAEL ROBAK — Vice President, Information Technology
Michael Robak, previously the senior director of operations solutions and support at Independence Blue Cross, brings a wealth of experience to AHA in the areas of operational performance, technology, and business processes.
In his new role as vice president of information technology, Robak is responsible for keeping AHA's technical capabilities in step to constantly improve operational performance and enhance its best-in-class service. Robak is also responsible for leading IT services to comply with the new federal health care reform provisions and to position AHA to remain competitive in a rapidly changing health care environment.
Robak received an MBA and a bachelor of science degree in information systems from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
KORI SNYDER — Vice President, Operations
As vice president of operations, Kori Snyder is responsible for all operational areas, which include enrollment, member and provider services, account implementation, and claims processing. Snyder had served as director, Claims Operations, since joining AHA in 2006.
Snyder has more than 20 years of claims operations management experience in the health care industry. In her previous role as director, Claims Operations, she was responsible for a wide range of operational activities such as business operations development, benefits and provider file maintenance, operations auditing, stop-loss reporting, and COBRA processing. Before joining AHA, Snyder held several management positions at Independence Blue Cross in operations, contracting, and provider networks. Over the course of her career, Snyder has led strategic reengineering initiatives in operations that have produced significant improvements in customer satisfaction and productivity.
