AmeriTitle, Inc. to Join Futura Title & Escrow Family

BOISE, Idaho, April 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Two of the largest independent regional title and escrow companies in the Pacific Northwest are joining forces. Futura Title & Escrow, the parent company of Alliance Title & Escrow Corporation, announced today that it has closed the purchase of AmeriTitle, Inc., whose corporate offices are in Bend, Ore.

Combined, the companies will create the largest independent title and escrow group in the Pacific Northwest, with more than 600 title and escrow professionals and 73 offices operating in five states. The companies will maintain their separate brand identities.

AmeriTitle founder and President Linda Stelle will remain in her current position.

AmeriTitle and Alliance offer title, escrow, 1031 facilitations and long-term escrow processing throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana and Wyoming.

The sale of AmeriTitle is part of a strategy by its previous owner JELD-WEN to focus on its core manufacturing business. The company has owned AmeriTitle for 28 years.
