SOUTHFIELD, Mich. and SARASOTA, Fla., Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AmeriTrust Group, Inc. announced today that the organization's retail agency subsidiary "Meadowbrook Insurance Agency" has acquired Sarasota, Florida-based "Carol P. Rummel Insurance Agency", (dba "Signature Insurance Agency"), effective October 29th, 2018. This retail agency acquisition provides Meadowbrook Insurance Agency with additional revenue opportunities, niche product expertise, and expanded market reach.
As part of the transaction, Carolyn Rummel has been named President of Meadowbrook Insurance Agency's Florida operations.
Commenting on the acquisition, Meadowbrook Insurance Agency President Brian L.
