SEATTLE, Oct. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Amplero, the world's first predictive Customer Value Management (CVM) platform, today announced the appointment of Santo Criscuolo as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Santo brings extensive experience helping large business-to-consumer brands, such as AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Nike, adidas, Weight Watchers, Disney, Microsoft, and Starbucks, leverage digital marketing to acquire, engage, and retain their customers.
In his new role, Criscuolo will lead Amplero's growing sales & business development team to bring the company's proven marketing intelligence platform to consumer brands undergoing a digital transformation to meet the increasing demands of today's always-on, connected customer.
"I have made a career of partnering with leading consumer brands to help them leverage the power of digital advertising and online marketing to engage their customers in an increasingly digital world. I am excited to join Amplero because I truly believe that they're on the forefront of the next major marketing disruption. The Amplero Intelligence Platform enables marketers to utilize machine learning and continuous optimization technology to drastically improve customer retention, increase average revenue per user, and deliver personalized 1:1 customer experiences at scale."
The hiring of Criscuolo marks an important milestone for Amplero. After spending the last several years building its marketing intelligence platform and validating the technology with early enterprise customers, Amplero is rapidly building out its sales and marketing infrastructure to drive rapid adoption in customer-value obsessed industries, such as telecom, banking, gaming, and consumer software.
"The addition of Criscuolo as a key contributor to Amplero's rapidly growing team comes at a pivotal time for us as we look to accelerate our customer growth and momentum," said Amplero CEO, Dr. Olly Downs. "Santo's wealth of knowledge in marketing and advertising technology coupled with his proven track-record of helping tier-one consumer companies engage their customers in more relevant, personalized experiences is the ideal combination to help elevate Amplero's market share and propel the company through our next phase of growth and development."
Prior to his role at Amplero, Criscuolo led sales and business development teams across enterprise digital and technology companies. Most recently, he was responsible for driving enterprise sales and business development for the TV media management team at Adobe Systems, working with key partners such as ABC, ESPN, NBCU, AMC, and Fox Network Group. In his role at Adobe, Santo served as subject matter expert for the Media & Entertainment Marketing Cloud, where he worked to align customer needs with the efforts of the product marketing and sales teams.
Criscuolo served as SVP of Media Group and Business Development at United Online, where he was responsible for display and mobile advertising revenue, ad tech partnerships, and managing the customer portal experience. As early as 2007, Santo was one of the early champions of programmatic display advertising.
Early in his career, Santo was Microsoft's District Manager Field Sales and served as the West Coast Mobile Team Lead/SME, where he managed eight-figure relationships with Top 100 brands including AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Nike, adidas, Weight Watchers, Disney, Century Link and Starbucks.
