Anatabloc® Brand Ambassador Fred Couples Wins Senior British Open; National Commercial Featuring Couples As Anatabloc® Spokesman Now Airing on Golf Channel

GLEN ALLEN, Va., July 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Star Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ: CIGX) is proud to congratulate Anatabloc® Brand Ambassador Fred Couples on his victory at the 2012 Senior British Open in Turnberry, Scotland.  In an exciting finish on Sunday, Couples sunk a 25-foot putt and made consecutive birdies on the last two holes to win the tournament by two strokes.  Sunday's win marked the first individual victory in Britain for the 52-year-old veteran of the PGA Tour, and his second win of 2012.
