ANCILE Hires Alan Young as Chief Technology Officer

ELKRIDGE, Md., Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ANCILE Solutions, Inc., a global developer of learning and performance software solutions used by more than half of the Fortune 100, today announced the appointment of Alan Young as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  An industry veteran with a career spanning more than 20 years, Young will be responsible for all facets of ANCILE's technology initiatives including defining the technology roadmap; overseeing current product portfolio deliverables; initiating research to drive potential new product offerings; and providing technology vision to the analyst, partner, and customer communities.

Young has extensive experience in the enterprise software and services industry building new, multi-site, multi-country operations and products, developing profitable client and partner relationships, and defining and executing offshore and international business strategies.

Prior to joining ANCILE, Young served as Senior Vice President of Research and Development and the General Manager of the Application Development Platform Business Unit at Progress Software in Bedford, Mass. Young has also held executive positions at BEA Systems in San Jose, Calif. as well as at CA Technologies in Islandia, N.Y.

Mr. Young received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas and a Master degree in Business Administration from Boston University. He holds multiple patents in various enterprise software areas including enterprise application and service management, infrastructure and business process discovery, and complex event processing.

The addition of Young rounds out ANCILE's executive team, which includes CEO Frank Lonergan, CFO Tom Monteleone, Vice President of Channel Sales and Professional Services Patrick Dunlap, Vice President of Development Operations Dave Lingg, Vice President of Global Support and Hosting Services Dave Baca, and Vice President of Product Management and Marketing Jennifer Langer.
