The winning projects exemplify the company's mission and values and advance core business objectives.

One Excellence Award winner is chosen to receive the Chairman's Award, recognizing a project that demonstrates excellence across multiple categories. The 2018 Chairman's Award was awarded to the Easy Connect Joining System, which was also honored with the Andersen Excellence Award for Innovation.

The patented Easy Connect Joining System utilizes interlocking fiberglass joining plates to offer design flexibility without compromising performance. The system delivers the ultimate in job site conveniences, making it safer and easier to install large window combinations, with most contractors surveyed saying they could reduce the number of installers by 50 percent**. The Easy Connect Joining System was also recently awarded NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS) Best in Show and Best Window & Door Product.
