Andy Beck Announces Candidacy for Wisconsin's 5th Congressional District

WEST BEND, Wis., Aug. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrew "Andy" Beck, a lifelong Wisconsin resident and seasoned professional with a strong background in business and healthcare, has announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives in Wisconsin's 5th Congressional District.

"I'm running for Congress because we need a strong, independent voice that represents all the people of our district—someone who will fight for our values and work to improve the lives of every resident," said Beck. "Partisan politics and political retribution have taken priority over real solutions. It's time to get back to doing the work of—and for—the people."

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Andy is a graduate of Washington High School. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Wisconsin–Stout, a certificate in Radiologic Technology from the Froedtert School of Radiologic Technology, and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. Professionally, he has held management roles at Hilton Hotels, GE Healthcare, and Hologic. He currently works in sales and resides in West Bend, enjoying life in a small but vibrant community.

Beck's campaign will prioritize:

• Defending democracy from increasing threats to voting rights and civil liberties.
• Protecting reproductive freedom and ensuring women's healthcare choices remain between patients and doctors—not politicians.
• Safeguarding Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, which millions of Americans rely on.
• Standing with veterans and ensuring they receive the care and support they've earned.
• Supporting unions and advocating for fair wages and benefits for all workers.
• Addressing global climate change with real urgency, to prevent more loss of life from floods, hurricanes, and extreme heat.

This marks Beck's first run for public office. He believes his real-world experience and working-class perspective are exactly what's missing from Washington.
