ELGIN, Ill., Aug. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Building Content Summit released its list of the 50 leaders in Building Information Modeling (BIM) engaged in innovation and thought leadership, and among those named were Anguleris Technologies® cofounders Benjamin Glunz and Freddy Munoz.
The Building Content Summit (BCS) wrapped up its second annual conference for innovators and leaders in the BIM Content sector, July 11-12th. The conference's intent is to encourage innovation and improvement in BIM content. Leading the charge in quality BIM content, Glunz and Munoz cofounded Anguleris as two architects looking to improve the relationship between Building Product Manufacturers and specifiers. They are also the creators of BIMsmith, a platform that allows building content to be created on the fly with manufacturer specific products.
"The BCS50 recognizes thought leaders around the world that are engaged in improving the state of building-related content in the AECO market," stated Randall Stevens, Chairman of the Building Content Summit and CEO of AVAIL. "The goal of the BCS50 is to not only recognize these leaders but to promote communication and collaboration within the industry. With the contributions Ben and Freddy of Anguleris have made to the industry it's not surprising to find both of them recognized as inaugural members of the BCS50."
Nominations were made by professionals in the AECO industry. Many of those listed in the BCS50 were in attendance at the conference. The BCS50 list can be found at: http://www.rtcevents.com/2016/na/bcs/bcs50/
