Ankura Names Rachel Platt as Chief Human Resources Officer
Business Advisory Firm Adds Industry Veteran to Provide Human Resources Insight and Leadership
WASHINGTON, Sept. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ankura Consulting (Ankura) announced today the appointment of Rachel Platt as a Senior Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer. A results-driven human resources executive with experience in diverse corporate situations including fast growth, turnarounds, private equity, and professional services firms, Ms. Platt joins the company's leadership team and will report to Ankura's Chief Executive Officer Roger Carlile. She is based out of the company's headquarters in Washington, DC.

Ms. Platt joins Ankura with more than 20 years of experience in human resource management and has worked in the professional services, direct response, online, and telecommunications industries. She has been responsible for strategic HR planning, new initiative rollouts, firm policies, employee relations, retention strategies, compensation, benefits, performance management, recruiting, talent development, communications, metrics, and inclusion initiatives.
She received a BA in business administration from Emory University. She obtained her Senior Professional Human Resources certification in 2000 and her SHRM-SCP certification in 2015 and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
