Recognizing the targeted nature of online searches, Workman has mined its rich backlist to create bite-sized e-books that, says Andrea Fleck-Nisbet, director of digital publishing, "fit a specific need for the reader and introduce him or her to the author's larger body of work." The line showcases topical excerpts from the publisher's existing print books, repackaging them in digital form at competitive prices.
