NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Athlon Sports Communication, Inc. ("Athlon"), the Nashville, TN-based integrated sports media company, announced today two additions to its Athlon Media team. Athlon Media President Stephen Duggan has named Anthony Flaccavento as Publisher and Michael O'Donnell as Advertising Director for Athlon Sports, the nation's largest sports magazine scheduled to launch in October with 7,000,000 monthly circulation.
As Publisher, Flaccavento will oversee integrated media sales for all of Athlon Media's print, digital and event properties. Flaccavento joins Athlon Media from Alpha Media Group Inc., publisher of Maxim, the largest young men's lifestyle magazine, where he most recently served as Associate Publisher for Integrated Sales. Prior to Alpha, Flaccavento served as Spirits Manager with Complex. O'Donnell also comes to Athlon Media from Maxim where he served as Director for Spirits and Consumer Electronics, Integrated Sales. His previously served as Advertising Manager with Fast Company.
