TROY, Mich., July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- While design magazines are a mainstay for interior-decorating ideas, there's nothing like being in the heart of a room to feel the power of the design aesthetic. That's why Judy Frankel, owner of Antiques Centre of Troy, is showcasing designer vignettes within her 8,000-square-foot gallery, introducing unexpected design concepts – and the talented designers who created them – to the public, and through her Web site, www.judyfrankelantiques.com.

July's vignette, "The Secret Garden", is all about creating a private escape with an earthy feel and a dash of French fantasy. A large rustic wood table is the centerpiece of the space, topped with a moss and chicken wire runner and surrounded with floral-cushioned chairs and a Gustavian bench. Designer Jennifer Taylor will be on location Thursday, July 22, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to share her garden design inspirations.
By collaborating closely with her clients, Jennifer Taylor, of Royal Oak, designs interiors that are fresh yet classic, while keeping her eye focused on every architectural and decorative detail. With over 20 years in the interior design industry, the Wayne State University graduate is also a Detroit Home Design Award winner, and has been published in both local and national publications, including American Bungalow, Spectacular Homes of Michigan and The Detroit Free Press' Homestyle section.
Located at 2830 W. Maple Road, Antiques Centre of Troy specializes in European antiques and sells mostly English, French and Belgian pieces. Judy Frankel's sophisticated eye has helped her to create a shop with a diverse and particularly fine selection that rivals what designers are looking for in shops in Atlanta, New Orleans, New York and L.A. The gallery has become a magnet for collectors and interior designers in the greater Metro Detroit area who want to decorate with warmth, beauty and the history of fine antiques – always at affordable prices. www.judyfrankelantiques.com
