Antiques Centre of Troy Introduces 'The Art of Designing With Antiques' to Inspire Interior Decor Enthusiasts
TROY, Mich., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- While design magazines are a mainstay for interior-decorating ideas, there's nothing like being in the heart of a room to feel the power of the design aesthetic. That's why Judy Frankel, owner of The Antiques Centre of Troy, is showcasing one designer vignette per month, beginning in March 2010, in her 8,000 square foot gallery, introducing design concepts – and the talented designers who created them – to the public. www.judyfrankelantiques.com

Located at 2830 W. Maple Road, the Judy Frankel Antiques Centre of Troy specializes in European antiques and sells mostly English, French and Belgian pieces. Frankel travels to Europe several times a year looking for unique, decorative antiques for her clients. The gallery has become a magnet for collectors and interior designers in the greater Metro Detroit area who want to decorate with the warmth, beauty, and history of fine antiques – always at all price points.
A vignette will be unveiled on the 1st Tuesday of each month and will be on display throughout that month. "We felt this would be a great opportunity to showcase design situations that incorporate fine antiques - a unique, one-of-a-kind way to decorate – to inspire and educate our clients," says Frankel.
Ten prominent designers across metro Detroit have signed on for the project, spanning the 2010 calendar year, bringing their own brand of design aesthetic to create vignettes that are unique, inspirational and memorable. www.judyfrankelantiques.com
