Michael Hutchence was the enigmatic songwriter and lead singer of the world famous rock band INXS. He was a global Rock Star, an Australian icon and natural showman who embodied rock 'n' roll charisma.
In conjunction with Michael's Trust (CIL), APA has been commissioned to spotlight various projects that highlight Michael's creative genius. APA will work in tandem with the management team of David Edwards from CIL, Martha Troup, Michael's former manager and David Byrnes at Law Firm - Ziffren Brittenham LLP.
On November 22nd, 1997, Michael was found dead at the age of 37 in his hotel room in Sydney. Circumstances surrounding his death raised many questions with the true story about his life & death still remaining a mystery to the world. Michael Hutchence's Trust owns and controls significant assets that celebrate his life, death and work. The unique opportunity exists to restore, preserve and celebrate his legacy.
The new partnership will expand these assets through multi platform content projects. They will include a Documentary Film, Feature Film, release of his solo music, international photo exhibition, book and ancillary properties.
