AppBox Strengthens Board With Two Senior Hires as It Targets 10 Million Downloads

Two new games coming to an AppStore near you this summer
Mobile applications developer AppBox Media PLC (AppBox), has today appointed two technology veterans to its board.

David Hampshire will take up the role of director of app design. He has worked at some of Europe's leading digital mobile agencies. He has a track record in creating clean, simplistic, striking design work across a range of mediums. He is also the co-creator of gaming apps, Hyperchrome and Fall .
Joining as AppBox's director of publishing is Mike Davison. He has over ten years' experience in the digital sector with a focus on mobile, delivering a range of eCommerce and global solutions (both product side and in agency environments), specialising in agile delivery. He is also the creator of Bounce, the hit game with over 7 million downloads across Google Play and Apple App Store.
Already in 2016 AppBox has launched eight apps, most recently patient care app, CareBuddy and child safety app, PawPrints, and is currently working on the release of Chasm and Drop, which it expects to be two of the major game releases on to the App store this summer. In total, the company has developed and launched 20 apps since the company launched in 2013.
In addition, the company has been developing its partnerships with other business to develop apps on their behalf. Most recently it designed and built the Radio Lollipop app for Great Ormond Street Hospital's volunteer run radio station.
