Applications Now Available for "Back to School" Teaching Scholarships Sponsored by EducationDegree.com
EducationDegree.com has launched the third annual "Back to School" teaching scholarship program, offering two awards of $2,500 each to students pursuing teacher education degrees.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., March 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EducationDegree.com, a comprehensive, online teacher education and career resource, is accepting applications for its third annual "Back to School" teaching scholarships. The two scholarships, intended to help current and aspiring teachers pursue education opportunities, provide awards for those who are planning to enroll in either:
- An alternative, post-baccalaureate or master's level certification for initial teacher licensure, or
- A post-baccalaureate certificate or master's degree in education for licensed teachers.
In 2011, EducationDegree.com awarded scholarships to students planning to enroll in teacher education programs at California State University, Fullerton and the College of St. Scholastica. Applicants for the 2012 scholarship will be selected based on their academic records, extracurricular activities, and other factors.
